Mississauga, ON – The 10th Anniversary Mississauga Marathon online registration will be closing on May 1st for all individual events including: Marathon, Recharge with Milk Half Marathon, Valeant Pharmaceuticals 10K, Starbucks Coffee Hazel 5K and the SUBWAY® Restaurants 2K Fun Run/Walk.
In-person registration will still be available at the Mississauga Marathon Runner’s Expo on Friday, May 3rd between 11:00 AM and 8:00 PM as well as on Saturday, May 4th between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM, at the Port Credit Memorial Arena located at 40 Stavebank Road North, in downtown Port Credit.
Why run Mississauga? Here are some great reasons: waterfront trails with stunning views, great bands at the finish line, the Boston-qualifying marathon is a net downhill course, the host hotel is a short walk from the start line and offers great deals to participants, the Scotiabank Charity Challenge allows participants to raise funds for a variety of great charities, runners can take advantage of bonus offers provided by local businesses, everyone who registers for the Marathon, Petrillo Law Relay Challenge, Recharge with Milk Half Marathon or Valeant Pharmaceuticals 10K receives an Under Armour high performance technical shirt, and unique to the Mississauga Marathon, every finisher receives a medal specific to their event after crossing the finish line. Guess what? There’s no charge to park at our Runner’s Expo, no charge for shuttles and plenty of free parking!
The 10th Anniversary Mississauga Marathon takes place on Saturday, May 4th and Sunday, May 5th, 2013 and offers “A Run For Everyone”.
