The streets of Washington DC were filled with runners taking part in the Marine Corps Marathon and its siter race the MCM10K this week-end.
Once a gain, the marathon kept its rank as one of the largest marathons in the US with 23,385 finishers.
Marathon Results
Samuel Kosgei won the race with a time of 2:22:11. Laban Sialo (2:23:47) and Justin Turner (2:25:04) took the second and third places.
Meghan Curran was the first women to cross the finish line in 2:51:46. She was followed by Lindsay Wilkins (2:52:19) and Gina Slaby (2:52:31).
