The 23rd edition of the Paris Half Marathon (Semi-marathon de Paris) will be held on March 8th 2015. 43 500 runners have registered for the event. This is 3,500 more than last year.
If you want to register, it is now unfortunately too late. Registration is closed.
The percentage of women taking part has grown to 34%. This is still far less than North-American half marathons where women are a majority.
40% of participants will be running a half marathon for the first time.
With more than 40,000 participants, the Semi-marathon de Paris is one of the largest half marathons in the world. While 85% of runners are French, it still attracts runners from all over the world (UK, USA, Belgium, Italy, Netherlands…).
The race will start at 10:00 in front of the Vincennes Castle and run in the streets of Eastern Paris. The race is quite popular with runners preparing Paris Marathon, held one month later.
