You’ll visit the beautiful old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, run under the impressive roman aqueduct and past the Royal Palace. This is not a flat race. The course has many ups and downs.
Orewa Beach is one of the longuest beaches in New Zealand and a popular holiday destination. The out and back course will take you along the beach, through Eaves Bush and Kensington Park and along Orewa River Estuary.
The race is organized by the Honolulu Marathon. It even shares most of its course with the marathon. You’ll start at Waikiki Beach, run through Downtown Honolulu and around Diamond Head before finishing in Kapiolani Park.
After a downhill start from Xagħra square, you’ll run though Victoria’s city center, Sannat, Xewkija, Għajnsielem and Qala. The last 6 miles are the most challenging with a few uphills to get you back to Xagħra square.
The race starts from Balat old Galata Bridge and is run along the Golden Horn, giving you fantastic views over the historic city of Istanbul and its world famous monuments (Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia…).
