Thousands of runners took part in the different races organized during last weekend’s Colfax Marathon.
Next year, the marathon will be held on May 15th 2016.

Marathon Results
Ramon Paredes-Becerra, from Mexico, won the marathon with a time of 2:36:13. Andrew Simmons crossed the finish line in 2:44:17 to take the second place. Dan Springborn was third win a time of 2:45:56.
Nicole Chyr was the first woman finish the race after a 3:02:04 run. It is her fourth victory in five years.
About 50 seconds later Laura Eakin followed her to take the second place in 2:02:53. The third place went to Anna Leer in 3:07:56.

Half Marathon Results
Eritrea’s Hais Welday won the race in 1:06:44, beating the record Patrick Rizzo had set in 2012 by 1 minute and 25 seconds. Rizzo took the second place in 1:09:36 and Alejandro Jimenez the third place in 1:10:36.
Nuta Olaru won the women’s race at 44 with a time of 1:22:46. Kristin Louderback and Kelsey Luoma took the second and third places in respectively 1:24:23 an 1:25:34.
