Halifax hosted this week-end its 13th annual Blue Nose International Marathon.
Scotiabank Full Marathon
Bryan Hipson won the race with a time of 02:46:39. He bested Michael Doyle who crossed the finish line 56 seconds behind him. Finishing third was Wade Were (02:50:50).
In the women’s race, Heather O’Donnell took top honors by finishing the race in 03:11:24 . Elita Rahn earned runner-up honors with a time of 03:19:44The third place went to Sara Earle with a time of 03:23:19

Matt McNeil claimed victory with a time of 01:08:53. Coming in second was Chris Voth (01:14:24). Rounding out the top three was Jason Guy with a time of 01:18:38.
For the women, it was Paula James (01:28:57) taking the top spot. She bested Madeleine Crowell who crossed the finish line 19 seconds behind her. The third place went to Helga Macneill with a time of 01:33:04

Connor McGuire got a win, finishing with a time of 00:33:11. Coming in second was Matthew Ho (00:34:15). Matthias Mueller (00:35:17) made notched third place.
In the women’s race, Ashley Chisholm got a win, finishing with a time of 00:41:10 , ahead of Chloe Austin (00:41:25). The third place went to Daun Lynch with a time of 00:42:27

For the women, it was Emma Edmonds who took the top spot in 00:18:35 , followed by Ashley Ryer who finished with a time of 00:18:49. While Erin Poirier came in third at 00:20:15
