Half Marathon results
Anna Dalton made it three in a row at the Her Tern Half Marathon, a women’s only event in Anchorage, Alaska.
Finishing nearly seven minutes faster than the field of just over 300, Dalton (1:22:25) worked her way through a mix of parks, past the University of Alaska-Anchorage and back towards the Gulf of Alaska, shaving almost a minute from last year’s mark (1:23:19) and more than two minutes from her time in 2013 (1:24:51).
Runner-up Laura Fox (1:29:21) came in just ahead of repeat third-place finisher Kirsten Kolb (1:30:30).
Kolb cut close to three and a half minutes from her 2014 time.
She finished fourth in 2013.
