Half Marathon results
Jason Trevino (1:19:07) topped nearly 700 runners in the 100-degree heat to win the Hottest Half Marathon in Dallas, Texas.
It was the city’s hottest day in almost two weeks.
Runner-up Jeff Russell finished with a time of 1:23:59.
Heath Brosi rounded out the top three, coming in at 1:25:56.
For the women, it was Dana Bond dominating the competition with a time of 1:24:21.
Good for third overall and first among females.
Helen Seifert (1:41:02) followed more than 16 minutes later to secure second.
Melanie Allen took third with a time of 1:42:10.
