Dustin Emerick (1:05:52) bested more than 2,100 runners to win the Evansville Half Marathon for the second time in four years.
He won the Evansville, Indiana event in 2012 as well.
The mostly waterfront run includes a tour of Gravin Lake, Pigeon Creek and the Ohio River.
Trent Nolan (1:08:14) finished less than a minute ahead of Luis Orta (1:08:36) to take second.
For the women, it was Hiruni Wijayaratne (1:21:06) defended her title, despite coming in close to four minutes slower than her winning time from a year ago.
Former winner from 2013 Kayla Haley secured second with a time of 1:27:19.
She finished fourth a year ago.
Melanie O’Daniel (1:29:43) managed to hold off Hannah Sale (1:30:08) for third.
O’Daniel finished fourth in 2011.
