Kilian Jornet has just won the UTMB for the second year in a row

The young Spanish, 21 years old, finished the Utra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB) in the amazing time of 21 hours 33 minutes and 18 seconds.
One full hour ahead of the French Sébastien Chaigneau who finished second. Tsuyoshi Kaburaki from Japan finished third.

Last year, he had completed the 166 kilometer race 20 h 56 min 59 sec.

Last friday evening, 2000 runners entered the race, starting in Chamonix (France), circling around the summit of Europe and crossing 3 countries : France, Italy and Switzerland.
With 9400 m of elevation gain, the UTMB is considered one of the most difficult trails in the world.
