Arny Johnson 10 Mile & 5K for United Way

The 39th Annual Arny Johnson run/walk will be held on Sunday, April  21, 2024, at Woodward - Rock Cut Campus (1 Woodward Way, Loves Park, Il 61111) 

The race is at the same location as last year starting and finishing at the Woodward Campus. 5k circles Woodward campus and then it goes out along Willow Creek Path. The 10 mile also circles the Woodward campus and then follows Willow Creek Path The Final course is TBD (depending on Rock Cut Construction)

There is a 5k, and a 10 mile run/walk. The races will be a gun start all at the same time. 

There will be one water stop for the 10-mile course. You will pass it twice when leaving and re-entering the Willow Creek Path near the dam.

The event is hosted by the Rockford Road Runners, Inc., with proceeds going to Annie's Locker.

AWARDS:   Age Group Awards: 9 & under, 10-11, 12-13, and 5-year increments up to 70+

There will be an awards ceremony for just the first place male and female soon after their finish. all other finishers can check with the awards table to receive their award. (awards will not be mailed)

Early Packet Pickup:  Saturday the 19th of April at Runners' Image 10am-3pm 219 E State St, Rockford, IL 61104 -  

Shoe sale: Runners' Image will be holding a shoe sale at the early pickup and on race day. Stop by for great prices on running shoes! 219 E State St, Rockford, IL 61104

Race Day Packet Pickup: Sunday, April 2nd from 7:00 am 8:00 am  at  Woodward - Rock Cut Campus (1 Woodward Way. Loves, Park, IL 61111)  

Race Day Sign-up: There will be a race day sign-up, but the price will be $50.
