About the event
On Saturday, November 14, 2015, runners and walkers will gather at Towson University for the 2nd Annual Best Buddies 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run. This year, we will be hosting a sport themed 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run and encourage you to wear your favorite sport jersey or apparel as we all team up to rally for inclusion for individuals with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The 1 Mile Fun Run will stay on the track at Unitas Stadium and the 5K will be a road race around Towson, MD USA also starting and ending at the stadium. Course to follow. Charm City Run Events will be providing the timing and race management. All runners will receive a BB5K commemorative race t-shirt. There will be course entertainment, live music, food and many fun post-race activities. Scheduled appearance of The Baltimore Raven Cheerleaders!
