Big Brothers Big Sisters 5K

Lace up your tennies and head to beautiful Fort Snelling State Park for Big Brothers Big Sisters 3rd Annual 5K on August 1st. This family-friendly 5K is great for everyone: serious runners, casual joggers, Big/Little matches (or any adult/child pairs), and anyone who enjoys a little exercise with family and friends to support a great cause.
All proceeds from the 5K will go directly to support Big Brothers Big Sisters' youth mentoring services. The race course at Fort Snelling is a certified USA Track and Field course with awards for the top three is each age group.
There will also be a Kids' Fun Run for children 5 and under and all participants will receive a medal.
New this year, join us after the race for our annual picnic. A variety of activities will be offered, including swimming, canoe rides, a fishing clinic, archery range, geocaching, face painting, a petting zoo, and lawn games.
