Down Tow Up Flow Half Marathon

About the event
This one-way, half marathon takes you along the Thames towpath, with stunning views and a flat, multi-terrain course. There is no traffic to worry about, so it's a great run for everyone. In 2018, it was run in the "Up Flow" direction, starting in Windsor and finishing in Marlow, with Bourne End, Cookham, and Maidenhead along the route. If you wish, you can park your car at the finish line in Marlow and take the pre-booked coach to the start (additional £8). When you have completed the race, your car will be waiting for you. The race ends in a spectacular fashion, with plenty of great places for spectators to watch along the way. Refreshments are available at the start and finish, so bring your family and make a day of it!

Thomas Dell claimed victory with a time of 01:18:19. He finished 3 minutes 23 secondes ahead of Charlie Bruce. Juan David Casasbuenas got the third place in 01:22:14.
In the ladies race, it was Lutie Akinci who took the top spot in 01:31:18 . She bested Cherry Newsam who crossed the finish line 43 secondes behind her. Rounding out the top three was Amelie Karlsson with a time of 01:33:33.

Jon Regan scored victory with a time of 01:21:28. Adam Roberts secured second in this year’s race with a time of 01:22:07. Alex Hardy got the third place in 01:22:29.
For the women, Jill Collett got a win, finishing with a time of 01:28:04 . She bested Gemma Carter who crossed the finish line 2 minutes 39 seconds behind her. While Justine Peters came in third at 01:32:17

Philipp GINTENSTORFER won the race with a time of 01:16:44. He finished 3 minutes 56 seconds ahead of Laurence MILES. Rounding out the top three was Ben GREGORY with a time of 01:22:16.
For the women, Jill COLLETT finished first in 01:26:21 , followed by Stacey MAHONEY who finished with a time of 01:29:11. Rounding out the top three was Nikki GRAY with a time of 01:30:46.
