Fort Worth Cops for Kids 5K

Join us on the banks of the Trinty River at Panther Island Pavilion for our annual barbeque cook-off, Chisholm Trail Music Festival, 5k run/walk, and kids fun run. The festivites start Friday, March 25, 2016 with a free concert starting at 7p.m. Our 5k run/walk and kids fun run will start off the day on Saturday, March 26. Judging of our IBCA sanctioned barbeque cook-off is after the race. We encourage adults to join in the judging of some of the best BBQ around (it's free to eat the BBQ for judging). There will be live music throughout the day with the event culminating with another free concert starting at 6p.m. All proceeds raised through the race and other events go to the support of the Fort Worth Cops for Kids charity (501c3).

Fort Worth Cops for Kids demonstrates local law enforcements' continued concern for the children in our community by encouraging them to build stronger family relationships, foster quality friendships, with a focus on education.

5K Race will be "chip timed".

"Early Bird" registration for 5k is $23 through January 31, 2016.

Please register by March 11, 2016 to be guaranteed to receive a race t-shirt.
