About the event

Join Glow XC on May 28, 2016 for a 7K, night time race that will fund continuing education grants for rural Emergency Services (EMS) volunteers in Oregon. Each runner will be provided with a headlamp and the course will be lined with glowing trail-markers creating a safe and electrifying atmosphere. Hosted at Elijah Bristow Park, outside of Eugene, OR, avid runners and social walkers of all ages are invited to celebrate the illuminating atmosphere while supporting rural health in Oregon.

Glow XC has proudly partnered with the Oregon Office of Rural Health to raise funds and awareness for the Apple a Day Campaign. Donations will fund continuing education grants for rural Emergency Services (EMS) volunteers throughout our lush state. Through Glow XC’s partnership with the Oregon Office of Rural Health, funds raised are donated to the Apple a Day Campaign to help fund continuing education for rural Emergency Services (EMS) volunteers.

Packet pickup** is on May 27th at Sports authority Valley River Center from 11am-7pm. Bring a photo ID.

Race Day packet pickup is at the race course from 630pm-8:45pm (parking at Dexter Recreation site. Shuttles provided to start/finish line). Bring a photo ID.

**If you are picking up a packet for someone else, you MUST show proof of an email from that participant authorizing you to do so. The email must be from the same email used to register that participant on RunSignup.

The race will begin at 9:30pm on May 30th, 2015 near the entrance of Elijah Bristow State Park. Parking is held at Dexter State Recreation site with shuttle busses providing transport to and from the start/finish line at Elijah Bristow State Park. Through Glow XC’s partnership with the Oregon Office of Rural Health, funds raised are donated to the Apple a Day Campaign to help fund continuing education for rural Emergency Services (EMS) volunteers.
