About the event
WHY WE RUN
On September 15, 2013, Coach and Teacher Bob Lennon was killed by a hit and run driver while cycling in Westerville. In an effort to commemorate the life of such a dedicated man, the Lennon Loop was born. We run to build a scholarship worthy of his life’s work and his love and commitment to students and athletes.
We hope you can join us for the 6th Annual Lennon Loop!!
This year's event will be held at Alum Creek Park Beach Area* 3400 Lewis Center Rd, Lewis Center OH 43035 on Sunday, July 28th.
*** Please note this location is different than the previous location of our race! *** Strollers are welcome but the path is not paved!
Not a runner? No problem! You can participate by walking our 5K or our shorter Family Fun Walk. Visit our Facebook page for any available promotional deals and throw back pictures of Bob at Bob Lennon Memorial Run Facebook Page.
Finally, check out the results and all the fun from last years event by visiting last year's race site.
If you are unable to participate, please show your support by making a donation to the Bob Lennon Memorial Scholarship Fund. All proceeds from this race will benefit the Bob Lennon Memorial Scholarship Fund at St. Francis DeSales High School.
