Maratón CAF-Caracas

Starting and finishing at the Los Caobos Park, the race is a loop through the main urban areas as well as the green areas of Venezuela's Capital.

The first kilometers lead the runners through the old city center before climbing to El Calvario and the Iglesia Nuestra Senora de Lourdes. The route then takes the runners downhill to the Military academy buildings located at the half marathon. The second part of the race goes through the suburbs of Caracas, around the 'Del Este Park' and returns to the Los Caobos Park.

As the city spreads in a valley located at about 800m above the sea level, the temperature is never cold nor too hot.
