Orange Is The New Pink 5K Walk for Breast Cancer

The Mountain Mandarin Growers Association members are working with the Placer Breast Cancer Foundation to host the Orange is the New Pink Walk for Breast Cancer. The walk starts at 8:45 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, at Mandarin Hill Orchards, 2334 Mandarin Hill Lane in Penryn. The untimed walk along part of Penryn’s Mandarin Trail also visits Downtown Penryn and Colwell’s Thundering Herd Ranch.

Day-of registration for the walk begins at 7:30 a.m. Registration is $25 for those over 18, $15 for ages 5-18 and kids under 5 are free (unless they would like a knit hat, in which case they are $15). Participants receive a knit hat and pancake breakfast (and mimosas!). We have also added bacon this year!
