Run for Research 5K Run/Walk and Family Fun Day

Our largest yearly Multiple Sclerosis research fundraiser is happening once again! The 2016 Run For Research 5K Run/walk & Family Fun Day festival will be conducted on Sunday, Oct. 23rd at Warminster Community Park (350 E. Bristol Rd.) from 9am to 3pm (rain or shine). As always, kids 11 & under attend the Family Fun Day festival FREE!!   For more information on the Family Fun Day Festival, click HERE 

Run & Walk Info:

Packet Pickup & Walk-up Registration begins at 7:15 on race day.

Two disciplines:  Chip-timed 5K race or untimed "Mummy" Mile Stroll (dressing up for Halloween is optional, but, could win you a prize!)

5K race starts at 9:00 ("Mummy" Mile stroll shortly after).  All entrants get free admission to the festval!  First 300 entries rec'd before September 15 are guranteed a race shirt!

5K Time Limits:  Walkers welcome in 5K race.  Participants must finish within 50 minutes to receive an official time.  Must finish 5K within 37 minutes to be eligible for age group awards:

Awards: Merchandise awards for top 2 overall male and female finishers.  Age Group awards for both 2 male and female in the following age ranges:  14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

"GO TEAM" awards in two divisions, Corporate or Family/Friend: Most $ Raised, Most Participants, Team Member Who Raises the Most $ & Best Team Shirt/Costume.

Prices: Entry Fees include admission to Festival

Kids 11 & under = $5 (either 5K or "Mummy" Mile Stroll)

5K: $30 before 7/16, $35 until 10/22, $40 on race day ($2.00 discount for USATF members)

"Mummy" Mile Stroll (1 mile pleasure walk): $20 before 7/16, $23 until 10/22, $25 day of event
