Run the World 5K

Kent State Student Pricing Student registration fee is $25. The discount will be applied during the registration process. Additional discount codes may also be applied, further reducing the registration cost.

Run the World is a collaboration between the colleges and regional campuses within Kent State University and the Office of Global Education to raise money for education abroad student scholarships.  The fifth annual Run the World will be held on Kent State’s Kent Campus on Saturday, September 12, 2020. The start and finish line will be at Risman Plaza (in between the Student Center and University Library). 

Packet pick up will begin on at 7:15 AM on Saturday, September 12 in the KIVA. 

Over the past four years the Run the World events have been able to provide over $35,000 in scholarships for students to study abroad.

Kent State Students: Registration for the race will also include you in a chance to win one of multiple $1,000 scholarships toward a study abroad experience. The study abroad program must be a Kent State or exchange program. See the Office of Global Education to determine if your interested program qualifies. Students must register for the race to be qualified.
