Thunderbird Summit Challenge

1 Mile Fun Run, 5K Run, and 8 Mile Run/Hike starting at Sabino Segura Levee Park, near Western Playland, headed up to the Summit of Mt Cristo Rey.  The 8 miler is a very strenuous race that will turn to a hike upon entering the mountain portion of the trail. A split time will be provided at the top of the mountain.  Once you have exited off the mountain, running will resume.  There will be plenty of volunteers and security to assist throughout the course.  Free parking will be available at Western Playland Amusement Park.  All early registration participants are garaunteed a race t-shirt.  Proceeds benefit several participating Coronado High School athletic and academic groups.  Race packet pick up will be on March 3rd & 4th, from Noon to 6:00 PM, at Coronado High School at the front Administrative Office Building.
