About the event
The Vesuvius Challenge is a non-profit event. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. THis is our 9th year running. Last years event we had 100+ Participants complate the race and over 50 Sponsors. We have a lot to offer including a beutiful wooded road course with lots of scenery and breath taking views of the Vesivius Lake. Enjoy our challenging course of 2 miles up and 2 miles back with lots of water stops along the way. For after the race, we will be having breakfast style buffet including cold refreshments and other snacks. Goodie bags and T-Shirts are guaranteed for ALL pre-registered participants.
Awards
Finisher medals for all participants of the 4 Mile Run/Walk.
Top 3 Overall Male and Female
Top 3 in each Age Division of the 4 Miler
All kid participating in the 1/2 Mile Kids Fun Run will receive an award.
