Wildfire Half

Half Marathon results Froylan Franco finished ahead of just over 300 runners to win the Wildfire Half Marathon in Denton Texas. The only runner to come in under an hour and 30 minutes, Franco found his way to the finish line in 1:27:13. Sixteen-year-old runner-up Alex Goff just missed the mark with his time of 1:30:24. Coming in at 1:31:51, third-place finisher Jeremy Wells cut more than two minutes from his eighth place finish a year ago. For the women, it was 18-year-old Aubin Hoelzel holding on for the win with a time of 1:43:29. Maria Guerrero secured second, finishing in 1:45:37. Laura Keeley rounded out the top three, coming in at 1:47:33.
