The 9km race makes a loop of the San Tan, Hedgehog, and Goldmine trails. The 25km makes a loop of the San Tan trail with an out and back to the Goldmine Trailhead plus the 9km course. The 50km course makes 3 loops of the San Tan trail with an out and back to the Goldmine Trailhead. The out and back section on the Goldmine Trail is on a very steep rocky trail and portions of the San Tan trail are in a sandy wash.
