Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois' Thin Mint Sprint

Join us for the 20th Annual Thin Mint Sprint!!  We're so excited to be hosting an in-person race with the Fox River Grove Memorial Library Running Club again this year! Join us along the Fox River on Saturday, September 14, at Lions Park for a timed 5K fun run/walk and stay for the post-race party. You don't want to miss this!! Funds raised support GSNI's financial assistance programs, ensuring every girl the opportunity to be a Girl Scout regardless of socio-economic barriers.  From membership dues to uniforms and books to international travel, we do all we can to ensure all Girl Scouts get the experience THEY want. Last year, with the help of our participants and donors, we were able to raise net proceeds of approximately $19,000 to help us continue our mission of building girls of courage, confidence & character who make the world a better place. Are you ready to smash that goal with us again this year!? READY. SET. GO!! 👟

Registration Details:

Included in registration fee: Thin Mint Sprint Tek T-shirt, chipped timing bib, medal, patch, box of official Girl Scout Thin Mints Cookies, and additional race swag items are included in the cost of registration. $35 Early Bird Registration until July 31, 2024, at 11:59 p.m.
$40 Regular Registration ~ August 1 – September 13, 2024, at 11:59 p.m.
$45 Race Day ~ September 14, 2024 Race packet pick-up will take place the week of September 1, 2024.  If you need to make alternate arrangements, please email [email protected] and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Race begins at 8:30 a.m. sharp!
After-party immediately following until 12:00 p.m.
