Marathon de Bruxelles

The trail is medium difficult but the nature is so beautiful, atmosphere great and the organization is very good. Volunteers provide great support to runners as well as Brussels residents. The atmosphere was only disrupt by rain.

This was my first timed half marathon, and I must say, this one was amazing. The people cheering, along with the people actually running culminated in a fantastic environment, and allowed me to finish 30 minutes after than what I had trained to do. Definitely coming back next year!

Very beautiful route, especially through the park, ending with an awesome Grand entrance into Parc du Cinquantenaire

Great route and well organized. It was not on 27-10-2018 but on 28-10-2018. My place was 27th with Men 60+

Fantastic route. The best marathon out of 8 that I have ran. It was a bit cold and windy at the end of October.

Elevation gain looks frightening but with the right preparation totally manageabale.

Thee city is amazing and the route was well chosen in terms of beauty but terrible in terms of altitude profile. The low temperature and the lack of supply stops also made the marathon much harder.

+ picturesque route + spectacular start and finish nearby the arch + nice idea with warming up beer run But: - no toilets on the root - lack of fruits (noticed only once) - would be great to have warming coats distributed after the run

Nice race with a friendly atmosphere in and around the European capital. The race is not for the faint of heart; and not just for the 42.2km but especially for the +400m elevation. Well organised, and not crowded, with only about 2000 participants. Sufficient drinks, at every 3km or so, with very friendly volunteers. I'd prefer the drinks to come in bottles rather than cups, for easier consumption, but maybe you've got a different opinion. Enjoy!

Train those hilly terrains! You'll thank me later :-)

City is beautiful and atmosphere was amazing. Run 21.1 km and enjoy race. Weather also was very good for running.

Well organized and great energy. Loved the 3:30, 3:45, 4:00 pacers leading packs. Awesome finish at the rocking’ stadium!

My second marathon. New PB which increased my hunger for more. Route could be a little bit better - the industrial/canal part of Brussels between 25 to 38 km was not what I expected to see. Also the last 3-4 km where marathon and HM routes were connected, running with slower half-marathoners was little bit inconvenient.

Well organized race in Brussel. Despite the bad weather all was organized well and the volunteers were outstanding. See you next year🤩

The view is amazing and it's well organized. I do not have to wait too long for the bag drop area, nor to get my bib.

The atmosphere was really good despite the rainy conditions. I thought the route was a good one. Also, I liked all the opportunities that were available for participants to run/walk for a charity. I appreciated the way that the marathon organizers welcomed the Think Pink Walk/Run to join the mini marathon since their event had had to be cancelled the previous week due to a bad storm. Well done!
