Twin Lakes Triathlon and Duathlon

General Information

The Sprint Triathlon is a 500 m swim, 12 mile bike, and 3 mile run. Individuals and teams may participate. The Super Sprint is a 300 m swim, 6 mile bike, and 2.3 mile run. Individuals only. Both races will share the same transition areas. The races will be chip-timed and results available in real time. Timing is provided by TrueTime Racing Services.A shuttle will be offered from the finish line at Twin Lakes Bible Camp back to the transition area at Twin Lakes State Park following the event.Cost for registration increases one month before the race. 

Check-in Information

Check-in begins at 6am at Twin Lakes State Park, near the transition area. After checking in, getting marked, and getting their chip, participants may enter the transition area to set up equipment. Participants must retrieve all equipment from the transition area following the race. Security personnel will monitor the transition area from 6 a.m. until all equipment has been claimed. Only numbered athletes will be allowed to enter the transition area.Packet pickup will be the evening before the race from 6-8pm at Twin Lakes Bible Camp in the gym. This will be the last opportunity to register as there is no same-day registration. Cost to register in-person the night before is $80 for individuals and $150 for teams. Packets can also be picked up the morning of the race at the East State Park near the transition area starting at 6am.

Other Race Information

Opening Ceremonies will begin at 7:15 am at Twin Lakes State Park. Swimmers will be released in waves beginning at 7:30 am at the Twin Lakes State Park.Twin Lakes Bible Camp provides breakfast for all participants; others may eat with a donation.An award ceremony will be held approximately 20 minutes after the final athlete crosses the finish line. Awards will be presented to the top three overall winners, both male and female, for the Triathlon Individual races, as well as for the top Team Triathlon (overall winners are disqualified from winning their respective age brackets).
