Each month, more than 150 000 unique visitors come to the site to organize their race schedule and find new races to participate in.
Why register my race on ahotu Marathons?
ahotu Marathons is a great place to display your event on. You’ll be able to reach thousands of runners coming from all over the world.
If you are a race organizer, ahotu Marathons can offer you specific tools or services to :
- Add new event to the calendar
- Manage your events on ahotu Marathons
- Disseminate information about your events
Regularly updating your event’s information on ahotu Marathons keeps participants well informed and will certainly attract new runners to your races.

All you have to do is to create an account on ahotu Marathons and declare yourself as an organizer.
Declare yourself as an organizer
In order to get access to the aforementioned services, all you need to do is to :
1. Create an account
- You can use an account you have already created at Facebook, Google, Yahoo, Twitter…
- or create a new account on ahotu Marathons
2. Declare yourself as an organizer
Once the account has been created, log in the site and edit your profile.
In the edit page you’ll be able to indicate that you are an organizer as shown in the picture below.

Source : This being done, you’ll notice a new “organizer” section in the sidebar on the right side of the screen.
The “Race List” will lead you to the administration page where you’ll be able to add new race or edit races previously entered.

Clicking on “Document list” permits you to upload photos about the events you manage.
If you have several photos to upload, you can send us an email with the files attached mentioning the name of the event at email@example.com and we’ll do the uploading for you).
Create a new race
You can easily create an new race on the site. Once created, the race will be manually reviewed before being available in the calendar.
You’ll get an email when the race is actually published.
Claim your race
If your race is already in the calendar, we can give you access to it so that you can update the information provided.
Create your account on ahotu Marathons and send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org indicating the name of the races and their URL on ahotu Marathons and your username.
We will contact you to verify your identity and finally give you full control about your races.
Update an existing race
You want to add the new edition of your event to the calendar?
You don’t have to create a new race. Simply edit the existing one. Change the date of the race and eventually update the characteristics that might have changed since the previous edition (price, location…).
Publish news about your event
If you have published a press release about your event and would like it to be published on ahotu Marathons, simply send us an email with the press release at email@example.com
Be featured in an interview
Each week, we publish the interview of a race organizer. Answering a few simple questions, you can have the opportunity to present your race to our readers and convince them to come and run your race!
