“Der schönste Marathon zwischen Schwarzwald uns Bodensee”
Aufgrund seiner landschaftlichen Schönheit und Naturvielfalt eignet sich der Naturpark in besonderem Maße für einen Marathon. Die Teilnehmer fahren von Tuttlingen aus mit einem Sonderzug zum Start nach Hausen im Tal, wo um 8.30 Uhr der Aesculap-Donautal-Marathon gestartet wird. Vorbei an Burgen und Schlössern entlang der jungen Donau geht es durch die Kernzone des Naturparks von Hausen im Tal durch das wildromantische und auch schon mal als „Schwäbischer Canyon“ bezeichnete Donaudurchbruchstal mit seinen bis zu 150 m hohen Felsabstürzen über Beuron, Fridingen, Mühlheim nach Tuttlingen, wo im Herzen der Stadt ab 11 Uhr die Läufer/innen erwartet werden.
Die Strecke ist nach Richtlinien des DLV vermessen.
Verpflegungsstellen finden Sie bis 30 km alle 5 km, danach in kürzeren Abständen.
