Die offiziell nach IAAF / AIMS Jones Counter-Meßmethode vermessene, läuferfreundliche Strecke gliedert sich in eine Nordschleife (Halbmarathon) und eine Südschleife. Die Nordschleife führt durch Hof und Lembach, Oberstenfeld, Gronau, Schmidhausen, Beilstein über Oberstenfeld wieder zurück zur Bottwartal-Kellerei in Großbottwar (Ziel des Halbmarathon).
Für die Marathonies geht es weiter durch die Großbottwarer Altstadt nach Kleinbottwar, Steinheim und Murr und dann wieder zurück über Steinheim und Kleinbottwar zum Ziel in der Bottwartal-Kellerei in Großbottwar.
Die steigungsarme und nahezu verkehrsfreie Laufstrecke ist durchgehend asphaltiert. Ein Strecken-Vorausfahrzeug und Radfahrer des RRT Bottwartal zeigen den Weg, Polizei, Feuerwehr und Streckenposten sorgen für Sicherheit. Jeder Kilometer ist markiert und alle mindestens 5 Kilometer und im Ziel gibt es eine Getränke- und Verpflegungsstation.

Halbmarathon Südschleife: 90 m
