This is a friendly small town marathon which runs through 2 laps of beautifull countyside on the Suffolk / Norfolk border. The course is undulating so not ideal for a PB, however the marathon sets off 2 hours later so that the half runners join the marathon runners on thier second lap. Close to the Norfolk Broads, Suffolk coast, and Norwich, and not too far from London or the Midlands Bungay is also good destination for a weekend break for those not entering.
