I did my first marathon here and enjoyed it in very much the same way that I did the Great Ocean Road Marathon.
This is one marathon in the annual running calendar that I am not prepared to miss out on. (only run the 1/2 marathon in Melbourne to ensure I can do the full event in Portland).
