    A fab experience. I did the 2005 edition under a warm summerday. Beautiful countriside trail, single track, local atmosphere and hundreds of runners. Consider 1h plus to your marathon time. You have to guide yourself through the course description (kept secret until the start), that is given to you in paper. Sort of orienteering marathon.

    Middle distance events too.
    Very close to London Luton (Easyjet operates there) airport.
