Race type: Shorter than 10 km race
Distance: 5 kilometers

The 5K Run/Walk will begin at 8:05 am from the downtown Civic Center. All runners/walkers will follow the other routes into Moorhead, but turn north into the Hjemkost Center instead of the southern path of the 10K and Half Marathoners. The 5K Run/Walk will take participants through the north Moorhead trail system and over to the Footbridge which brings them into the Oak Grove Park. From there, runners will follow all trails back to the Fargo Civic Center Finish Line! You can envision just how awesome this course is going to be… trails, trees and bridge! What more could anyone want on a crisp, cool October morning?
