One of the best “Little Marathons” around. About 60 or 70 in the Marathon with much bigger numbers in the Half and 10 Km which start half an hour and an hour later.
21.1 Km out and the same 21.1 Km back.
Starting and finishing by the beautiful beach at Trial Bay.
There’s a hill at the very beginning and end with a middle that’s flatter than a snooker table as you run along the scenic Macleay River.
Very well organised. The runners are always treated well.
Great lucky draw prizes at the finish.
Always a good course for a fast time.
Have run the full Marathon there 5 times ( and the Half once before ) and will be back again.
A nice alternative to the Big City races.
Most recently 2009.
A Great “Little Race”.
