Michel Baudoin (here in photo beside Laurent Jalabert – French cycling champion turned marathoner and triathlete) has create one of the greatest race in France : Alençon-Médavy, which he organized three times. From this experience in the 70’s, he has maintained the ‘running for the pleasure’ spirit, he wishes to find in more races.     I’ve been trying for months to enter this marathon from the USA, but cannot get the web site to come up. If I could speak French, I could probably pull it off from the on-line registration (which is entirely in French), but when you select English, you cannot get any information on the marathon or registration for it. Perhaps it is just something I’m doing wrong, but it is totally frustrating.

    très belle course avec une bonne participation des habitants des villages traversés (14) où l’on retrouve des ravitaillement sauvage et de nombreux encouragement. Techniquement très dure (400m denivelé positif) l’année dernière mais de spendide paysage ddu sundgau ; si dans la région la faire. En tous cas moi j’y retourne.

    tré belle course,tant par la beauté du parcours à cette saison avec les couleurs de l’automne.
    les gens sont supers symphas.beaucoup d’encouragements.
    j’ai pu découvrir un charmant petit village le vieux ferette en venant participer l’année passé.
    je le conseil à tous ceux et celles qui veulent parcourir un marathon sur une boucle de 42kms pour découvrir une belle région .degustation de spécialités de la région à l’arrivée
