A well-organized race. I’m a back-of-the-pack runner that speaks no French. The organizers were very helpful throughout the entire process, despite our limited ability to communicate. The volunteers were encouraging throughout the entire race. I couldn’t understand mnay of the words, but the sentiment was clear. This marathon was my first small race and the organization was every bit as good as the couple bigger races that I’ve run. I would certainly recommend this race.

Good race with excellent food and drink provision. Well organised and planned out. The course was scenic
and testing and the km markers were easy to spot.
The only bad thing about the day was that the weather forecast couldn’t really have been furthur from what it was. Forecast (that morning) was 17 degrees, overcast/rain/thunder… what we got was 25 degrees and blazing sunshine. So I have a wicked case of sunburn.
Still that’s hardly the organisers fault!
Whilst it is a very good event I am not sure that I would make the journey for this small provincial marathon, and if you’re a pro the prize money isn’t really that much of a draw (unless you live locally).
Again, it was well executed and very well provisioned, and I would recommend it.
