Ole Man River 5K

Participants have a choice of either running or walking atop the levee that runs alongside the intercoastal waterway at the Ole Man River Half Marathon & 5K, which celebrates its 28th annual running in the winter of 2009. The entire course for the race, which is open to both runners and walkers, is fast and flat along the blacktop of the Mississippi River Trace pathway, and features gorgeous views of both the water and downtown New Orleans.
