Expect a very scenic race with some of the most breathtaking views available of any marathon course. You will run along the shores of Lake Michigan several times throughout the course. You will enjoy more views of Lake Michigan than in past years. The Marathon and Half Marathon are out and back courses beginning on Bridge Street in thebeautiful downtown area of Charlevoix. The course will wind through fantastic residential tree lined neighborhoods for over 3.5 miles then onto the bike trail at Waller and US31. The course is primarily flat, fast, shaded for the most part with some inclines.
