Held on MEMORIAL DAY (5/30/2011), the STATE CAPITOL HALF Marathon is the MOST SCENIC and challenging Half Marathon course in the Salt Lake Valley. This is the choice training route for thousands of locals. The course showcases the natural beauty of the city from its eastern and northern bench and the grandeur of the Utah STATE CAPITOL Building at the FINISH! The Run STARTS overlooking the Salt Lake Valley from the Olympus Hills area. At this point you can see your FINISH Destination – the Utah STATE CAPITOL Building! There are amazing views of the entire valley throughout the course. The STATE CAPITOL HALF MARATHON is the only Half Marathon to utilize a portion of the famous Bonneville Shoreline Trail beginning halfway into the run. If you want to experience the beauty, history, and natural grandeur of the Salt Lake Valley, there is only one race, the STATE CAPITOL HALF Marathon! See you racing in 2011!
