This year the marathon introduced a new starting line location. It moved from downtown Columbus to North Bank Park in the Arena District where the finish line is located.
Marathon Results
Meshack Kirwa won the marathon with a time of 02:18:17. The was followed on the finish line by Kennedy Kemei (02:19:31) and Tony Migliozzi (02:20:53).
Lauren Woodring toped the women’s race when she finished the race in 02:18:17. Irina Alexandrova took the second place (02:43:34) and Stephanie Telek the third (02:45:24).
5,443 runners crossed the finish line.

Half Marathon Results
Nelson Oyugi set a new course record in the half marathon with a time of 01:03:24. The previous year was set 4 years ago. Oyugi finished more than two minutes ahead of Patrick Cheptoek (01:05:32). Siraw Kebede Gelaw was third in 01:05:41.
In the women’s race, Lilian Mariita was the fastest. She crossed the finish line after 1:14:02, 3 seconds before Etaferahu Temesgen (01:14:05). The third place went to Allison Morgan with a time of 01:15:28.
10,411 runners finished the half marathon.
