The victory went to Bedan Karoki who crossed the finish line at 00:59:10, followed by Yigrem Demelash who finished with a time of 00:59:19. Rounding out the top three was Augustine Choge with a time of 00:59:26.
For the women, Peres Jepchirchir took top spot in 01:05:06, setting the new world record for the half marathon , followed by Mary Keitany who finished with a time of 01:05:13. Joyciline Jepkosgei got the third place in 01:06:08.
