 A 2.05-mile run  to raise money for  District 205  Physical Education programs. The early-evening run will take place on the streets of downtown Rockford, followed by a social at Prairie Street Brewhouse.

The 2.05-mile evening run begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Rockford City Market site. The scenic route includes running under the Jefferson Street Bridge, up and around behind Riverfront Museum Park, and finishing with a home stretch on the State Street Bridge.

All participants over age 21 will receive tickets for food and drink at the post-race party at Prairie Street Brewhouse. The first 200 registered will also receive a t-shirt.

 

 Awards will be given in age-group divisions as well as non-traditional categories such as Most Originally Dressed, Most School Spirit, and Worst Running Form. Winners receive personalized, filled growlers from Prairie Street Brewhouse.

Packet Pick-up: Friday, June 5th at Prairie Street Brewery (200 Prairie Street, Rockford) from 4-7 p.m., or race day, June 6, from 4:30-6:00 p.m. at the starting area at the Rockford City Market site.
