U.P. Run For Life

Mark your calendars for the 5th annual “Run for Life” event on Saturday, June 11th, 2016 at the Mattson Lower Harbor Park in Marquette, Michigan. Please join us as we celebrate life and promote organ and tissue donation. In collaboration with the Superior Heath Foundation all net proceeds from the event are used to assist transplant patients as well as potential donors with out of pocket expenses. The event will include 10k and 5k runs, and a walk starting at 9:00 AM as well as a ‘10 and under’ kids run starting at 10:30. We utilize chip-based timing and awards will be given for top overall individuals and teams in both the competitive 10k and 5k runs. In addition, awards will be given to all participants in the kids run! Again this year we will have a commemorative balloon release!! This year bag pickup will be held on Friday, June 10th from 4-7pm at Synergy Fitness located at 181 W. Bluff St., in Marquette. There will be registration give-a-ways as well as some goodies from our friends at Synergy! The Run for Life is open to everyone who enjoys making a difference in the lives of others while having fun!
