Reindeer Fun Run

This FUN community event is for everyone from serious runners to recreational walkers, families, and pets. Join in the holiday cheer with a run or walk and the Reindeer Fun Run After Party featuring a Kids Zone.

5k Reindeer Fun Run/Walk
The 5k curves through the historic downtown neighborhoods of Aberdeen, NC with rolling hills and wide turns.

12k of Christmas Run
The 12k incorporates the 5k route along with a scenic tour of Bethesda, and the Malcolm Blue Farm.

Both courses finish on a sloping downhill toward downtown Aberdeen and historic Union Station.

Kids  Egg Nog Jog & Kids Zone
For kids 9 and under, the Egg Nog Jog is an absolute blast--circling downtown to the cheers of all. We have three heats with slightly different distance so the smaller kids don't tucker out (too much). 8 & 9 / 6 & 7 / 5 & under. On-site child care (please make a reservation) means that you can run your race, then enjoy the Egg Nog Jog and Kids Zone with your family.

Over the years 99.9% of runners have said they would recommend the Reindeer Fun Run to a friend. Plus, (we're assuming) Santa says the Reindeer Fun Run is his favorite holiday event in the Carolinas! He makes an appearance every year, so it must be true.
