SJWC Somerset Sunset Skedaddle Run/Walk

Are YOU ready to get YOUR color on right here in Pulaski County?
This is the 5th year for this fun run with PAINT!  And, this year, we are also adding a 5K to the line-up of activities. The run/walk is sponsored by Somerset Junior Woman's Club and will be held at Pulaski County Park in Nancy, Kentucky.  It will include a 1/5 mile fun run/walk, a 2-mile fun run/walk and a 5K timed run/walk. The race benefits Relay for Life of Pulaski County and other SJWC community/charitable projects. All ages...male and female...are welcome to join the fun! We'll have a DJ on site playing music, an inflatable slide for the kids and maybe a few other surprises!

With this event, colored powder paint will be tossed on you as you run and walk either the 5K, 2-mile or 1/2-mile course. And, if you get enough colors on you in the 1/2 mile and 2-mile, you might win the title of "Most Colorful Kid" or "Most Colorful Adult!"  For the 5K runners and walkers, a prize will be awarded for Overall Female and Overall Male winner, as well as First and Second places for males and females in each age category. Age categories for males and females in the 5K are as follows: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 & older.

If you do NOT pre-register on this website or by mail, you will be able to register ON SITE at Pulaski County Park beginning at 5:00pm EDT on race day. Remember, a t-shirt is only available for those who register for the races that specify "with t-shirt."

Pre-registrations will be accepted until 11:59pm on August 12th for those who want a t-shirt.  Pre-registrations will be accepted until 11:59pm on August 18th for those who do not want a t-shirt.
