About the event
The 5K begins promptly at 8:15 am. The Smile Mile begins promptly at 9:00 am. Rain or ShineThe Smile Mile is limited to children 14 and is a loop in the streets around Memorial Park.The 5K course is a USATF certified (NC04019-PH) loop around downtown Asheboro. The start and finish are at Memorial Park. A water station will be located at 1.5 miles. Split times will be given at the 1 and 2 mile points. Runners and walkers are welcomed.
This year the 5K will have pottery for the top finishers and expanded age group medals for men and women 3 deep! You are never too young or too old to participate!10 and under11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and older!
