About the event
Island Challenge is a swim run competition organized in Karlshamn, Sweden. By combining running and swimming, the team will make it through a marked course of 26 km. The race consists alternately of swimming stretches in open water and running in terrain. 2XU Island Challenge has its starting point at Eriksberg's spectacular wildlife and nature reserve. The course travels through the wonderful southern Swedish archipelago and has its finish in Karlshamn harbor. The race is conducted in two-man teams that can consist of ladies, men or mixed couples.
