Join Social-Summit Lodge #50, the local Masonic Lodge in Canaan, NH, for their fifth annual Road Race, Walk and Kids Fun Run, on Saturday, July 8. There will be prizes for top road race and walk finishers! The Masonic Lodge will serve refreshments for all registered participants at the finish line. Show your national pride and run or walk in red, white and blue, and help raise money for some great causes!

Since this year our local road race is on the same day as the 36th Annual Prouty, you can choose to be a Virtual Prouty participant and be part of our run, too. All you have to do is register with The Prouty to be Prouty Virtual and then come do our run!  Virtual participation in the Prouty allows creative options for anyone, anywhere, anyhow to join The Prouty and raise money for cancer research and patient supportive services at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Norris Cotton Cancer Center.  Go to http://theprouty.org/ways-to-prouty/virtual/ to learn more about how you can be a Prouty Virtual! 

At the 4 for the 4th Road Race, Walk and Kids Fun Run there is something for everyone...

The “Kids Fun Run” is for kids 10 and under. The Fun Run will loop around the Canaan Elementary school and come back to the Social Summit Lodge. Four different fun-filled activities await the kids on the route!

Same day registration begins at 7:30 AM at the Social- Summit Lodge on School Street in Canaan. Kid’s Fun run will start at 8:30 AM, the 4-mile Road Race and Walk begins at 9:00 AM

All proceeds will go to support Mascoma Valley Parks & Recreation, and the charitable efforts of the Masons of Social Summit Lodge #50, which include college scholarships for local high school students, Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth, Indian River School special events, Canaan Recreation and many more.
